🚴I am running a Blog on Blogger with the Dynamic Views theme

Hello, Radiant Guys out there!✨

In the last post, I introduced how to set up Google Search Console for my blog. Today, First, I will continue by checking whether my blog URL gets indexed by Google bots and searched on search engines such as Bing or Google. Actually, I don't expect my blog to be indexed yet since I haven't taken any SEO actions on Bing.

Second, Let's figure out what measures can be taken if it is not searched on search engines

How to Check Indexing with Bing?

First, I'll check if my blog that I've just finished setting up Google Search Console ( GSC ), is properly searchable on Bing and Google.

· Enter site:your blog URL (e.g., site:https://bloggerx110.blogspot.com) in the Bing search box and search.

The image shows the search results on Bing. My blog is searchable.

My blog URL successfully appears in the search results on Bing even I haven't taken any measures for the SEO yet. This is a good news.

How to Check Indexing with Google?

This time, I entered my blog URL into the Google search box and searched. However, unlike Bing, I confirmed that Google cannot search my blog URL.

See, right after setting up my blog URL with Google Search Console, I tryed searching by entering my blog URL into Google's search box as follows:

site:https://bloggerx110.blogspot.com/

While Bing found it instantly, Google sent me the message "No search results matching site:https://bloggerx110.blogspot.com/." What's wrong?

The image shows there are No search results matching my blog URL on Google.

So I went back to Google Search Console. As I click "URL Inspection" in the left-hand menu, a notification message appears saying that my pages have not been indexed

So, I clicked the "Request Indexing" button. It helps Google to reflect new information more quickly.

Two days have passed from the "Request indexing" but Google still can't find my blog URL. Google may take some time to crawl and index my new pages. In this situation, is there anything I can help fix this issue?

6 Expert SEO Fixes for Indexing Issues

Here are several steps you can take to speed up the process and ensure your blog gets indexed:

1. Check your blog's indexing status

   · Go to Google Search Console.

   · Click on "URL Inspection."

   · Enter your blog URL (e.g., https://bloggerx110.blogspot.com/).

   · If it says “URL is not on Google”, click "Request Indexingagain.

2. Submit a Sitemap

   · In Google Search Console, go to "Sitemaps."

   · Enter your sitemap URL:

   sitemap.xml
(For Bloggers, the full URL is usually
 https://bloggerx110.blogspot.com.sitemap.xml)

    · Click "Submit" to help Google spot your pages faster.

🎯 TIP

I will cover the "Sitemaps" more in the next post.

3. Improve Internal Linking

   · Write new posts and include internal links to your existing posts.

   · Google finds new content faster when pages are linked to each other.

4. Share Your Blog On Social Media

   · Share your blog URL on χ, Facebook, LinkedIn, Reddit, or other platforms.

   · Google crawls frequently shared links faster.

5. Get a Backlink from an Indexed Website

   · If possible, get another website already indexed by Google to link to your blog.

   · Google is more likely to crawl your blog when it finds links from other indexed sites.

6. Be Patient

  · Sometimes, it takes a few days or even weeks for Google to index a new website (Google usually says it typically takes 1 to 2 weeks)

   · Keep publishing high-quality content while waiting for indexing for your mental health. High-quality content that is updated frequently is more likely to be indexed faster.

Congratulations🎕

Did you enjoy the post of today? By following these steps above, you could improve your chances of getting indexed faster.

Unfortunately, my blog URL is not indexed by Google yet. But I'm really excited to see what will happen in the future. If Google gives me the happy news that my blog gets indexed successfully, I will upload it as soon as possible.

Every great achievement starts with a single step—keep going and success will follow! See you soon, take care Radiant Guys!
