"🚴I am running a Google Blogger Site with the Dynamic Views theme installed."

Hello, Radiant Guys in the world!

In the last post, I introduced how to set up Google Search Console for my blogger. Today, I will continue by first checking whether my blogger URL is well indexed by Google Search Console (GSC) and searched on search engines such as Bing or Google, and second, what measures can be taken if it is not searched on search engines.

| How to Check If My Blog Is Indexed By Google Search Console?

| Search on Bing

First, I'll check if my blogger, which I just finished setting up GSC, is properly searchable on Bing and Google.

· Enter site:your blog URL (e.g., site:https://bloggerx110.blogspot.com) in the Bing search box and search.

My blog successfully appears in the search results on Bing.

| Search on Google

This time, I entered my blogger URL into the Google search box and searched. However, unlike Bing, I can confirm that Google cannot search my blogger url.

See, just after setting up my Google Blogger with Google Search Console, I searched by entering my blogger URL in Google's search box as follows:

site:https://bloggerx110.blogspot.com/

However, while Bing found it right away, Google showed me the message "No search results matching site:https://bloggerx110.blogspot.com/." Something wrong?

So I went back to Google Search Console. When I click "URL Inspection" in the left menu, a notification message appears saying that my pages have not been indexed. So I clicked the "Request Indexing" button. It helps Google to reflect new information more quickly.

Two days have passed from the request indexing but Google still can't find my blogger URL. Google may take some time to crawl and index my new pages. Is there anything I can fix this issue?

| How to Fix Indexing Issues: 6 Expert Tips

Here are some steps you can take to speed up the process and ensure your blog gets indexed:

1. Check your blog's indexing status:

   · Go to Google Search Console

   · Click on "URL Inspection".

   · Enter your blog URL (e.g., https://bloggerx110.blogspot.com/).

   · If it says “URL is not on Google”, click "Request Indexing" again.

2. Submit a Sitemap

   · In Google Search Console, go to "Sitemaps".

   · Enter your sitemap URL:

   sitemap.xml  (For Bloggers, it's usually https://bloggerx110.blogspot.com.sitemap.xml)

    · Click "Submit" to help Google discover your pages faster.

🎯 TIP

I will cover "Sitemaps" in more detail in the next post, so stay tuned please.

3. Improve Internal Linking

   · Write a new blog and include internal links to your existing posts.

   · Google finds new content faster when pages are linked to each other.

4. Share Your Blog On Social Media

   · Share your blog URL on χ, Facebook, LinkedIn, Reddit, or other platforms.

   · Google crawls frequently shared links faster.

5. Get a Backlink from an Indexed Website

   · If possible, get another website already indexed by Google to link to your blog.

   · Google is more likely to crawl your blog when it finds links from other indexed sites.

6. Be Patient

   · Sometimes, it takes a few days or even weeks for Google to index a new website (Google says it typically takes 1 to 2 weeks)

   · Keep publishing high-quality content while waiting for indexing for your mental health. High-quality content that is updated frequently is more likely to be indexed faster.

Congratulations (╹ڡ╹ )

Did you enjoy today's post? By following these steps above, you could improve your chances of getting indexed faster. And I guess it'll take a bit of a break until Google indexes it.

Every great achievement starts with a single step—keep going, and success will follow! See you soon, Radiant Guys!
