Hello, Radiant Souls!✨
So far, I've built a house for my blog using a theme and decorated the inside using a little HTML and CSS. The process wasn't that difficult, but it still took a lot of effort and time because I was completely new to blogging and coding.
Some people start a blog to organize their thoughts or simply enjoy writing itself—and that's wonderful. But many of us, including me, want to share our writing with people all around the world.
If you are in that second category, then it's important to make sure your blog—the one you've been working so hard to build—is visible to others, right?
That's why I show you 3 smart and simple Blogger blog settings you can use to help your blog show up more in search engines like Google.

The "Search Description" in Settings helps search engines understand what your blog is about, while the "Blog Description" in the Theme section introduces your blog's personality and purpose to visitors or readers.
The “Search Description” in the Meta Tags settings is a key part of your blog's SEO (search engine optimization). This short description helps search engines like Google or Bing understand what your blog is about—and it often appears in search results.
So, a clear and inviting search description can influence whether people decide to click on your blog or scroll past it. Here are the details to keep in mind when writing your search description:
First, keep it concise (maximum 150 characters). Search engines often cut off long descriptions.
Second, include relevant keywords. Use key words that people can search for to find your blog.
Third, make it compelling. Write a compelling summary that encourages users to click.
fourth, avoid keyword stuffing. Avoid unnatural or excessive keyword use, as this can harm your SEO. For example:
Keyword stuffing happens when you overuse keywords unnaturally in an attempt to manipulate search rankings. This can make your content look spammy. Search engines might penalize the page.
Fifth, use a natural, clear tone. Write as if you are describing your blog to your friend, not a robot.
Lastly, be unique. Don’t copy your description from other websites or posts.
Considering the six factors above, the example of a good search description follows the below.
