A friendly grandma starting her first blog on Google Blogger, with her cats and laptop –a simple start for beginners❣ |
Hello, nice to meet you, Radiant Souls!✨
Today, I'll introduce you to creating my first blog on Google Blogger. Would you like to create a blog with me? I'm sure that the whole process of creating my own blog would be really fun.
It is great to share my experience and thoughts in a virtual space called a BLOG and to give help to people who live far away.
I dare say that blogging could be a really exciting experience even if you are a grandma or grandfather. I like to share this amazing journey with all the brave potential bloggers out there.
I hope you all enjoy the travel to Blog with me. Let's kick off.
Today's Contents:
1. Sign Up and Log In
2. Select the "Blogger" and "Create a Blogger"
| Sign Up and Log In
Before creating your first blog on Google Blogger, you need to sign in with your Google account. If you don’t have one, sign up first, please:
• Once you have completed signing up and logging in, click the "App launcher icon" (Designed with 9 dots) in the upper right corner of the Chrome browser screen. Google likes to call this 9-dot icon the App launcher icon, however, it is also known by other nicknames such as the waffle icon, bento box, etc.

• Select the desired Google account. This only applies if you have more than one Google account. I currently have two Google accounts. If you have one, only that account will be displayed.

Depending on your purpose, you can have one or more Google accounts. Google does not have a specific numerical limit on the number of accounts an individual can create, but there are some principles and restrictions.
• Fill in your Blog's title field. This title appears publicly at the top of your blog page. Write it down in less than 100 characters. It is desirable to make a title that is concise yet related to the topic of your blog. Then click "NEXT".
• Create a non-duplicate blog address. This web address helps people find your blog online. At this time, I recommend using keywords related to your blog's title or main topic. Then click "NEXT".

The blog URL (e.g.: https://blogname.blogspot.com) cannot be modified later, so decide carefully.
• Write down a display name i.e., a nickname. This is the name displayed with your post on the dashboard.
The display name can be changed later.
• Then click "COMPLETE." All done.

Congratulations!
We've made it, wow! Your brand-new blog has been created on Google Blogger—Congrats!
This view below is called "Dashboard" in Blogger. Here, you can see my Blog Title (e.g., Hello AI) just below the Google Blogger logo on the left in the image10.
The dashboard functions similarly to an airport control tower. Here, you can create posts, monitor statistics, make pages, make menus, find new themes, and change settings, etc.

I'm so curious! Has everyone successfully created your blog like me? I hope you all have created your own awesome blog on Google Blogger.
In the next post, I will talk about Blogger themes (or templates). There are many paid themes, but I would like to introduce one free theme that is easy for beginner bloggers to access or practice.
I hope this post was helpful to you all, Radiant Souls! See you again.
