Hello, Radiant Souls!✨
Good to see you again! Before we dive in, let's a moment to celebrate you—yes, you! Trying something new, especially with technology, takes courage and curiosity. Whether you're here out of interest, necessity, or just to challenge yourself, you're in the right place. This guide is made for you!
| What is Gemini?
Google Gemini is an advanced artificial intelligence model developed by Google. It was first released in December 2023 as Gemini 1.0, with the ability to understand and work with various types of content—including text, images, video, audio, and code.
At the time, many people were curious to see whether Gemini could compete with the highly popular ChatGPT, which had already made a strong global impact. While Gemini showed potential, it didn’t quite manage to shake ChatGPT’s dominance in the AI world—at least not yet.
But things changed quickly. In May 2025, Google released Gemini 2.5, and the upgrade surprised users around the world. With stunning new features like Gemini Live, Imagen 4, Veo3, Deep Research, Canvas, and 2.5 Flash—all working together in one system—Gemini 2.5 delivered performance that felt both powerful and comprehensive. It is hard for anyone to ignore how much it has improved.
Gemini also became more useful by integrating deeply with Google’s services, including Gmail, Google Maps, and YouTube, making it a seamless part of many people’s daily Google lives.
Gemini currently is available in two versions: a free basic version, and a Pro version with more features. As of May 2025, if users want to subscribe a Pro version, they can try Gemini Pro free for the first month. After that, the subscription costs 19.99 USD per month and includes added benefits like 2TB of cloud storage and more. But it is expected that the subscription plan will differ somewhat from country to country.

"Hello, Gemini?" or "Can you help me write a birthday message for my granddaughter?"
Give it a try not just in your native language, but also in foreign one—Gemini understands many languages! If you don't like the answer, try rephrasing your question or say, "Can you explain that more simply?"
Congratulations (╹Ú¡╹)
You now have an AI friend. Trying your first AI chat might feel new, but you’re doing great! The more you explore, the more confident you’ll feel on AI. Gemini is here—so have fun with it!
